CALL FOR PAPERS

We invite proposals from persons interested in addressing the topic.  Speakers should not only identify particular aspects of the decline they believe has taken place, but offer practical solutions either to turnaround the decline or outline what they believe are the best alternative responses.

Papers should not exceed 30mins, and there will be 10 minutes for questions after each paper. With the consent of the presenter, proceedings will be filmed and posted on the Dawson YouTube site, and a written copy of the talk published late in 2026 or early 2027.

Proposals, or questions about the call for papers, should be sent to Alexander Sidhu, Director, Christopher Dawson Centre for Cultural Studies director@dawsoncentre.org.

The closing date for proposals is 30May. Places for papers are limited and therefore therefore proposals will be considered on a first come, first served basis.
